Short Introduction
Some Like It Short – the smartphone movie minifestival, is a competition for amateur filmmakers, a once-in-a-while opportunity to jump from the cinema seat to the big screen. The formula is simple: every person with a sparkle of movie passion will submit shorts and enter the competition.
Videos must be made only with a phone in HD quality (1920x1080), English or Czech friendly (audio or subs).
An arbitrary - yet tasteful - selection of videos will be screened in a real cinema and the audience will vote for the best ones.
After 8 underground home editions, the first official festival eventually took place in a real Movie Theater on June 21st 2018: it was in BioIOko, Prague, and this very cinema has been a strong partner and support since then.
